2. How GoRefMe Works
GoRefMe is a community marketplace that connects users sharing referral codes ("Earners") with users looking for bonuses ("Hunters").
We are not the Brand
GoRefMe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the brands listed on the site. We simply provide a platform for users to share referral codes.
We do not pay rewards
All referral bonuses and rewards are paid directly by the respective brands (e.g., Uber, Wealthsimple) according to their own terms and conditions. GoRefMe is not responsible for unpaid, delayed, or modified bonuses.
3. User Responsibilities
Accuracy
You agree that any referral code you post is active, valid, and accurately described. You must promptly remove or update codes that are no longer valid.
Compliance
You agree to only post codes for brands that allow public sharing of referral links. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with the referral program terms of each brand.
One Account
You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate the ranking system. Any attempt to game the system may result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you post. However, by posting a code or adding a new brand, you grant GoRefMe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on our platform. You represent that you have the right to share any content you post and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.
5. Intellectual Property
The GoRefMe platform, including its design, logo, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GoRefMe and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our prior written consent. Brand names and logos displayed on the platform are trademarks of their respective owners.
6. Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use GoRefMe. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we learn that a user is under 16, we will terminate their account and delete their data.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
Your use of GoRefMe is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws. 8. Modifications to These Terms
GoRefMe reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify users via email or through a prominent notice on the platform. 9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms (e.g., posting spam, fake codes, or abusive content). Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoRefMe, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Limitation of Liability
GoRefMe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the site, including but not limited to broken links, expired codes, missed financial rewards, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to GoRefMe in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GoRefMe shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
